Ava-Loren is NUTS about Nutley

In this interview I spoke with my roommate Ava-Loren. She is originally from Nutley, New Jersey. This town she grew up and calls home is just outside New York City. Interviewing Ava-Loren was the easiest choice because we live together and my schedule is so hectic. But more than that she is a very interesting person in my life. I have met most of her family and seen her hometown. I wanted to know more about it, the nitty gritty of what makes her home, her home. Before interviewing Ava-Loren I had the assumption that she loved her hometown, that it was her favorite place to be. She constantly talks about her dogs, her family and her favorite foods back home. When I asked her to talk about Nutley with me thought she was hesitant. She said at this point she grew to hate Nutley, her hometown. After interviewing though and talking out loud about her hometown Ava-Loren grew to appreciate where she came from, she even said after the interview that she felt homesick. I personally hate my hometown and I am so much happier in Tampa, Florida with all my best friends. It’s crazy that I feel this way here but when I visit home I never want to leave. We can always runaway from our hometowns, but they just always find a way to come back to us.
